The Walking Dead S5, E16
On this week's the walking dead...
Rick wakes up in a prison cell after being knocked out by Michonne in the previous episode, while that is going on Deanna is still deciding what to do after everything has happened and what was said to her by Gabriel. Deanna decides to hold a meeting inviting everyone in the town to vote on what happens to the group. Rick is heading to the meeting to hear his fate when he sees 3 walkers that have managed to enter the camp and quickly kills 2 off them but struggling with the third leaving us on the edge of our seats to see the outcome of the fight, While we are watching the fight it keeps going back and fourth to Glenn who is being lead into a trap by Nicholas. At this point I was on the edge of my seat because i'm not sure if i have mentioned this before but Glenn is my favourite character and I think the show would be ruined without him. Nicholas then shoots Glenn but gets him in the shoulder so he doesn't die like Nicholas wanted and fights back.
It then goes back to Rick who eventually kills the walker and it swiftly moves back to Glenn who beats Nicholas but spares his life and returns him to the camp. Rick makes it to the meeting and throws down the dead walker in order to prove a point on how much he is needed and then goes on about that. He is rudely interrupted by a drunk Pete who goes for him holding Michonne's sword but Reg walk's in front and Pete pushes him away but ends up slicing his throat open with the sword and he bleeds to death. Deanna then turns to Rick and tells him to kill Pete, Rick doesn't hesitate and kills him. To his horror Rick turns and sees Morgan, Morgan had been watching the whole time and was mortified that the man he knew had become what he was now.
In my opinion this was one of the better episodes in series 5 and ending it on that scene has left me unable to wait for season 6 to begin to see what happens between Morgan and Rick.
