2nd Secret Easter Egg??!!!!

A couple days ago Sledgehammer tweeted out something about a 2nd Easter Egg but they didn't go any further than that since there isn't much info most of this post will be peoples thoughts or ideas on what it could be since I haven't seen anyone trying to figure it out on stream yet.

There is a lot of speculation right now to whether the 2nd EE even exists but most people are hopeful and have been going through the map looking for any other clues other than a bottle that disappears once you shoot it.

I have been reading up on ways other people have come up with but it doesn't seem like anyone has tried so I might dedicate a weekend to trying some of these methods because I am curious if they bothered to make a 2nd EE or whether they were to lazy to delete some coding like other people are thinking.

Also there is a challenge set by NGT for everyone to try and figure it out I don't know why they haven't started trying yet but they did spend a long time figuring out the first one and they do deserve a break. So if anyone wants to try this challenge I will leave the link here if you want to check out what they think the steps might include.

Carrier Easter Egg!

The map has been out for about a week now which is more than enough time for everyone to have figured out all the steps to the easter egg and sure enough it has been done.

Unfortunately most of the people who stream them trying to figure out the easter egg are american so I miss most of the stream so I never got to see it live but luckily they posted the video online for everyone to watch and to do. I have tried it myself but I kept getting unlucky and not being able to aim properly or quickly enough with the grenades.



In my opinion the easter egg is pretty easy but I just need to practice more then I will be able to do it no problem. I have been watching NGT try and do it solo which is easy as well but the last time they streamed it the game ended in a ridiculous way and he stopped playing it for a while and have gone back to older zombie games to do those easter eggs again.



Since there is not that much more to talk about about the map I will talk about the cut scene you get at the end of the easter egg.

It starts with them initiating the self destruct protocol on the ship and running away while killing a few zombies but when they get to the exit Lilith starts to hear a noise and thinks its Oz but then Decker just starts shooting saying its a zombie. A few moments pass and the noise is finally reveled as a zombie Oz and then the cut scene ends.



This has got me excited for the next map just so I can find out what happens with the group and to see what is up with Oz to see if its a trick or not.

Thought's on Supremacy DLC!

As I mentioned in my previous post the latest DLC has been announced the only difference now is that is out and available for download. Since my blog is about zombies I will be mainly talking about the zombie map (Carrier) and maybe a little about the new multi player maps. As its suggested in the name the map is set on a aircraft carrier which seems to be owned by Atlas since there logo is everywhere and so is their technology.



I have only played the map a couple times but I already enjoy although the maps seem to have a lot in common they have focused more on the appearance in this map. There is a part of the map where there is live zombie sharks, I will be honest I didn't think I would ever see a zombie shark in a zombie map but apparently Sledgehammer have decided they wanted them. I have mainly been watching NGT do there usual easter egg hunt so I can get tips on how to do it myself when the time comes that I want to do it.




Sledgehammer have also added in a new feature where you have to defuse a bomb I am not sure if it is every round but it is too often for my liking because you got to go against Atlas soldiers and they get stronger as the rounds get higher. It gets really annoying after a while because you also have to survive while the Atlas soldiers shoot at you and the zombies start rushing in which is really difficult because after 10 seconds your 1 hit away from going down and you need to navigate your way out quickly before the Atlas soldiers can get you.



As I mentioned in the previous post Oz is no longer someone you can play as but we don't know if he is dead. Throughout the map you will hear Oz talk but he is not there what the assumption is that it is just a recording of him reading out the Captains log but as I said this is just an assumption since no one has finished the Easter egg to get the cut scene we don't know yet.





Once I have played the map more I will have another post hopefully there will be more info around by then.

Latest CoD DLC!

On June 2nd for Xbox one/360 the supremacy DLC will be released for download. With most CoD DLC there are 4 Multiplayer maps and 1 zombie map (Treyarch/Sledgehammer) now since my blog is about zombies I will be focusing on the exo zombie map. There isn't that much information for it yet but what I have read is telling me there is a new character joining the team but the unfortunate side is that there is only 4 characters which means 1 of them has to go.

At the end of the last Exo zombie map (Infection) there is a clip of the four characters about to get over run by zombies but then an atlas warbird swoops in and kills the zombies. This is when we get our first look at the new character not much worth mentioning  happens after that until the end where he says he is joining the team but then says 'but one of you has to go' now the screen goes black after that and that's it.

Now when I was looking for more information on this the current theory is that it is Oz who is being replaced which is unfortunate since he was my favourite characters 1 reason was because of the lines he got but mostly because I like the actor who plays him John Malkovich.



I am personally looking forward to playing this map because it looks better than the previous two and I should have a post on my thoughts and opinions after.

Dead Island! Bugs/Glitches!

Dead Island is well known for having bugs and glitches in the game. I haven't played it personally but  I was reading up on it recently looking at all the bugs and glitches and there is a lot of them, which surprised me because the game is quite popular and has DLC and a couple sequels. I haven't looked up any glitches or bugs that are on any other installments because I didn't think there would be as many as the first one.



The bugs/glitches change on each platform you play on I assuming because each system runs the game in a different way even if it is in a subtle way it can affect the game. Luckily there are glitches that are on every platform some that can help you get an advantage but also some that can hinder your progress. With most games that you have an inventory there is a way to duplicate your items even if it is to save you time or the items are hard to get it, in that way I can understand why people would want to do it but there are also some which could mess up the game. Dead Island is no exception to this because there are several ways to duplicate your items and luckily they are easy and doesn't cause you to lose anything.



In Dead Island there are a few good glitches then there are the ones that can get annoying over time especially the disappearing gun glitch. The disappearing gun glitch can happen at any time and unfortunately isn't just applied to the lower tier weapons even the hard to obtain weapons which could really annoy people playing the game considering how much time they have put into the game and what gun disappears. They are also other bad glitches which are just annoying because it can make you skip missions altogether or there are ones which hinder your progress and make you spend longer on the mission than is necessary.



I haven't let this influence my decision but the way the game plays doesn't suit the kind of experience I want while playing a zombie game.

Treyarch Zombies: A Little History!

In 2008 Treyarch released World at War which was their first Call of Duty to contain there much loved zombie survival game mode. As some developers do they leave hidden as we call ‘Easter Eggs’ for players to look for and find. In this case Treyarch were working on a secret project which would be unlocked at the end of the campaign. 

With the lead up to the release of World at War the secret project was almost thrown out the window because it was taking too long to develop but after Mark Lamia played the game mode he decided that it needed to be in the game and they still managed to finish the game on time. The zombie game mode was never advertised or publicized so they could keep as a secret until the first person completed the game and let everyone know, the zombie game is revealed with a cut scene it starts straight after the campaign when the player is lying on the ground surrounded by plane parts on fire which indicates a plane crash, while the  player is taking in the surroundings a black figure seems to be running at the player which doesn't indicate anything suspicious yet but as the figure gets closer, the player can start to see that there is something wrong with the figure and before the player knows it the figure is now revealed as a zombie the screen goes black at the zombie game mode starts and is revealed.

Ever since then the Zombie game mode has become more and more popular even getting its own story line now in the newest CoD (Black ops 3) which has got people on the edge of their seats for more news leading up to the games release which unfortunately isn't until 6.11.15.
