The Walking Dead S5,E14

On this weeks The Walking Dead.

This weeks walking dead has got to be my favourite episode ever simply because it is filled with zombie killing and there are some dramatic deaths which made the episode even better to me even though i liked one that died i knew it was inevitable.

The episode is filled with great parts so i will just mention my favourite part. It begins with a simple supply run going wrong when Aidan shoots a walker that is strapped with explosives (God knows why??) and every one is hurled in different directions in the warehouse. unfortunately for Aidan he has been impaled on the wall and can't be saved and Glen and Nicolas quickly find this out and Aidan just tells them to leave and then he is swiftly eaten by zombies. As Glen, Nicolas and Noah try to escape they get stuck in a rotating glass door because they are zombies on the outside and zombies on the inside so they are then stuck in the middle. (As i forgot to mention this earlier they were also accompanied by  Tara and Eugene, Tara was also knocked out and is bleeding from a head injury)  That is when Eugene drives by in the van playing dubstep and gets the zombies on the outside away, but all is not safe because if the door swings either way Nicolas will get eaten or Glen and Noah will so being the smart guy Glen is he starts to break the glass to get a gun but Nicolas the coward freaks out and squeezes out his side pushing Noah into the zombies and he is ripped apart in front of our and Glens eyes.

This episode is made further interesting because it ends on a cliff hanger. This is caused by Carol's growing suspicison that Jessie's Husband is beating her and her children which causes her to say to rick 'Your going to  have to kill him' and then the episode ends and we are on the edge of our seats till next week.

The Walking Dead S5,E13

On this weeks walking dead not much has happened it has just been about how the group are settling in and a few background stories on some of the characters. In the episode it also showed some of the groups at there jobs and it looked like most of them were enjoying themselves which made me feel happy for them even though i wished there was a bunch of zombie killing going on.

As the episode progresses it starts to center around Sasha as she starts to freak out, in my opinion i think she is finally lashing out for the death of her brother (Tyreese) in the first episode when they aired after the mid season break. Near towards the end of the episode there is a party where Sasha completely loses it at starts yelling at a group of girls because she overheard them saying one of there biggest worries was something to do with cooking but because of everything she has been through it just set her off.

As I have mentioned in every post since they arrived at Alexandria I have finally decided to trust MOST of the people there but not every one because they are making some people seem shady and i don't want the influencing my decision so i will just exclude them.

As always i am ever hopeful that next weeks episode will be better than last and leave me at the edge of my seat until the end.

The Walking Dead (S5,E12)

On this weeks walking dead the group entered Alexandria and to my surprise they had a nice community, there weren't a lot of people pointing guns at them or people on rooftops looking out. It looked like a town before the outbreak and the people there looked the same.

As the episode went on the leader of Alexandria asked to interview them one on one and she did and she went on to talk about how Alexandria had been there since the start. After Rick's interview we were shown to were the group would be staying and they were 2 perfectly in tact houses with working electric and running water (I don't know how this is possible). They also introduced a few new characters and as the walking dead writers are i don't know how long they are going to live since the made it passed there first episode.

In my last post i talked about how I am still undecided on whether or not to trust them and unfortunately i still have that same opinion and mostly because of what rick said how people are just about surviving and always seem to have an angle which has been proved in past episodes.

I am very hopeful for next weeks episode to see if they will show us how Alexandria came to be since they have done that with most characters/bases. I am also hopeful that they will help me decide whether i should trust everyone at Alexandria or not.

The Walking Dead

I know my past 3 posts have been about games but i am going to try and talk about zombie shows and movies here also so i can have a variety in my blog without changing the topic.

On Monday the latest episode of the walking dead came out (Sunday for the US) and it was probably my favorite episode since the season came back from its mid season break. The summary of it is that it's a continuation of the previous week as is the usual with TV shows but at the end of last weeks episode a new character was introduced 'Aaron' saying that he had come to help. At the beginning of this weeks episode they brought Aaron inside and tied him up and asked him what he was doing there, he went on to tell them about his community 'Alexandria' and eventually towards the middle-end of the episode they go there and nearly get Michonne, Glenn and rick killed by taking the non cleared roads but they eventually get there and at the episode ends at them looking at 'Alexandria's' wall while the sound of playing children is in the background.

walking dead aaron

With nothing much in the preview of next weeks episode i am still undecided whether i trust Aaron or not but as with the knowledge of the past 'safe communities' i have no hope that this will end up being a interesting story line. Although i wouldn't mind that they stayed there i feel like the show would start to get boring compared to the thrill of watching them kill zombie after zombie. In the back of mind i am still thinking about the plan of them going to Washington DC but with Alexandria being so close it has me thinking that the rest of the season will be based there and during the start of season 6 something will happen and they will end up back on the road to Washington again.

Dying Light Post #2

Since the game is not released on disc in the UK until the 27th of February I have yet still to play it but that hasn't stopped my from watching as much content on the game as possible. Lately i have been watching someone who speed runs the game, he uses a couple of glitches to help him through the game but nothing game breaking. With these small glitches he is able to complete the game in a little over 2 hours which is amazing since currently people who play through it casually usually take up to 20 hours in game time.

I have also been looking more into the story line of Dying Light and i read some of the reviews and i don't agree with most of what they say, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the story line but i do agree that they should have put more character development into the game maybe even have  put in bonus missions for each of the different main characters so we can understand how they got to the place they are in the story.

Dying Light

Dying Light is the most recent zombie game to come out with its digital release date only 6 days ago for PC and 5 days ago for Xbox one and PS4 in the UK. unfortunately i haven't had the chance to play it yet but i have been watching game play and reading views on it. the overall review on it has been between 5 and 8/10 but that is mainly based on people who play it to review it the overall opinion on it is that is an enjoyable game with a few little glitches here and there.

A bit about the game play:

Dying Light is set in a fictional country know as harran, you play as agent kyle crane who is undercover in a quarantine zone trying to track down a man by the name of Kadir Suleman or as he is referred in the game Rais. Before the outbreak began Rais used to work for the GRE but after the outbreak he stole a file and fled to harran thats when the GRE sent in Kyle Crane to retrieve the file.

New CoD Zombie DLC

On Tuesday 27th January 2015 sledgehammer released a zombie DLC for the latest instalment of the call of duty franchise Advanced Warfare. The DLC includes 4 new online multiplayer maps which is the usual throughout call of duties timeline but with this DLC they have also released a zombie map which is usually common with the call of duty games made by Treyarch ever since it was first introduced in 'Call of Duty: World at War'. Sledgehammer's version of the zombies game mode has integrated there new movement feature the exo suit.

They also added different types of zombies, some off them come with their own exo suit and some come with exo abilities just to add that extra bit of difficulty to make the zombie experience that much better and to give long time fans of the zombie game mode a different view on CoD zombies.
